In fact, Howard claims that Starfield’s map will be the biggest they’ve ever created — larger than Fallout 76 and at least four times the size of Skyrim. This landmass is static insofar as the size and dimensions will not change between games, but there is procedural generation at p

In a surprising social media post, Bethesda revealed that it has donated a bundle to the Make-A-Wish Foundation's auction. The highest bidder for the company’s package will have the opportunity to make a character for Starfield tips|https://starfieldgalaxy.Com/ . In addition, the auction winner will walk away with an Xbox Series X, recalling that Bethesda recently announced that it would be acquired by the console’s creators , and sixteen titles from the studio. Several of the games seem to come from some of Bethesda’s most popular franchises including The Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein , and Doom . At the time of writing, the ongoing bidding for the Bethesda bundle is just north of $2,000. Interestingly, the auction’s website goes into slightly more detail about what the winner can expect than the studio's post. It states that the highest bidder can look forward to working with the team behind the game, naming Todd Howard specifically, and that the winner should expect to " schedule time to create the character within 3 months of 2/28/202

However intriguing this auction prize may be, it still does not give fans much more concrete details about the game itself. There may be some news on the horizon, though. Jeff Grubb, noted industry insider, hinted on his podcast last week that Microsoft may currently be planning an event in which the company will discuss its intentions for Bethesda. There has been no official word about this from either company, howe

We were also treated to the announcement of new IPs from Tango Softworks, the developers behind The Evil Within and its sequel, as well as Arkane Studios, the people behind the acclaimed Dishonored games. We also saw Commander Keen ’s once-cherished name raked through the mud with the announcement of a totally controversial mobile-only title with a Saturday morning cartoon vibe. We’re not quite sure who that’s supposed to be targeting, as it’s sure to bore those unfamiliar with the property and offend those who grew up with

The Make-A-Wish auction page seems to have revealed an interesting, though admittedly very small, detail about the game’s development. Starfield creators will reach out to schedule developing this prize character with the auction winner in the months following the end of February. That is not much to go on but it doesn't rule out a release date for the end of this year. Hopefully, there will be a press event from either Microsoft or Bethesda soon that will tell fans a little bit m

At this point, it’s hard to know exactly how Bethesda plans to monetize Starfield , but, given their recent track record, it may be time to start worrying. Fallout 76 , as well as its predecessor's post-launch implementation of the Creation Club, unabashedly pushed the sale of in-game currencies and micro-DLC, and it’s unlikely that the publisher will be willing to forego these unfavorable monetization practices for the sake of their new property. This could also cause a bit of a delay should designers choose to push back against certain development mandates regarding recurrent spending options in Starfie

Bethesda's secretive space RPG Starfield is almost certainly going to miss 2021, as suggested by recent reporting about the state of the games industry. The COVID-19 pandemic is said to be affecting the industry so badly that the 2020 fiscal year was effectively " lost " in terms of development schedules, and publishers are learning to keep target release dates under wr

Bethesda’s subsidiary developers were arguably the only redeeming factor of the conference; we got a glimpse at updates coming to last May’s Rage 2 and an extended look at Doom Eternal courtesy of Id, and we saw a few snippets of gameplay from Machine Games’ two upcoming Wolfenstein spin-offs, one of which will be a VR ti

Information about the game is still scant regarding setting, gameplay, and story. However, according to creative director Todd Howard in a recent interview at the Develop: Brighten Conference , fans should be excited for what’s coming from a technical standpo

What I'm proposing is that The Elder Scrolls VI should have a multitude of areas in the overworld where players can customize and create their own town and kingdom of sorts: refine and expand the tools given to players in Fallout 4 and apply them here. I think the game should allow players to truly personify their own town: perhaps you can build a town that houses the wicked, like werewolves, vampires, members of The Dark Brotherhood and more, or perhaps you could build something more conventional. All I'm suggesting is that if this mechanic is done well, players should be able to give their areas a sense of individual
